John Goins

Varsity Head Coach

Coach Goins enters his 18th year of varsity coaching, joining the University's Boys Basketball team as just their 3rd head coach in the past 35 years. Coach Goins was the head coach of former league rival Beckman High School, where he led them to their first league championship in 2019. From 2018-2021, the Coach Goins led Patriots had a league record of 23-7.

Coach Goins is excited to enter this next step in his coaching career, looking to develop the program at Uni into one of the top in the area. For a school with such a tremendous reputation for academics, he wants to make their athletics looked upon in the same way.
