UPDATED 6/26 @ 11:30AM regarding returners practice during first week at Portola.

University boys basketball will be holding their summer camp beginning June 30, 2025. It will be 4 weeks long and conclude on July 26, 2025. The camp has activities 7 days a week. We will be offsite for the first week due to gym maintenance at Uni. For the first week, 6/30-7/3, camp will be held at Portola HS, but then will be on-campus at Uni for the remaining 3 weeks of the summer camp.

There will be a dedicated incoming freshman level, which will consist of daily practices, summer league games at Foothill High School, and weekend tournaments at:  El Toro HS, El Dorado HS, and Ocean View HS. There will be an additional $40 fee for practice uniforms, which must be worn daily.

Returning Uni players and non-incoming freshman will practice daily, with weekend tournaments at Sunny Hills HS, El Toro HS, Laguna Beach HS, and Ocean View HS. It is possible for a game or two to be available to play during the week, but nothing is finalized yet. Players will need to wear their Uni practice uniforms daily. We will have some for sale if anyone needs a set.

Summer is a vital part of the year as it provides an opportunity for players to be evaluated by our coaches while also learning how we play basketball here at Uni. While it is not necessary to play summer in order to make a team, it provides a large advantage due to the coaches already having had an opportunity to know who your son is and what they can do.
